Benefits of Yogurt

  • Rich in predigested protein and easily-assimilated calcium and other minerals.
  • Beneficial in relieving constipation.
  • Clears up symptoms of colitis and bowel diseases, fights urinary tract infection, bladder infection, anemia, hormonal imbalance and skin problems.
  • Aids the body in the manufacturing of B vitamins.
  • Resolves bad breath, gas and indigestion. If yoghurt should cause temporary intestinal gas, it is an indication that the body's need for it is great.
  • The beneficial bacteria of yoghurt is waging war and destroying bad bacteria there.
  • Discomfort should disappear when the beneficial bacteria multiplies sufficiently.
  • Restores intestinal floral (friendly bacteria) destroyed by antibiotic therapy and meat-eating.
  • Effective in controlling antibiotic induced gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhoea.
  • It has bactericidal value. A 240ml tub of yoghurt has an antibiotic value equivalent to fourteen penicillin units.
  • The most potent yoghurt for antibiotic factors is that which is 7 days old.
  • Helpful in cases of Candida and vaginal yeast infection - Add contents of 2 capsules of acidophilus to 1/2 cup plain yoghurt, then use an applicator to insert the mixture into the vagina.
  • Helps cure anal itching – take it internally and use it as an enema implant.
  • Yoghurt reduces cholesterol and thus reduces the risk for heart disease.
  • Helps maintain estrogen levels in women.
  • Helps prevent osteoporosis and dental disease.
  • Helps prevent "Tourista" or diarrhoea experienced by the travellers as a result of foreign bacteria in the food and water.
  • Helps strengthen the immune system.

  1. Transfer out 2 tablespoon of the liquid milk into a glass. Put in a packet of yoghurt culture. Stir until dissolved.
  1. Return (c) into the Newlife™ Yoghurt Maker container. Stir.

Note: Yoghurt is best taken with 1 tablespoon of Newlife™ Flax Seed Oil for optimal benefits
