OMEGA GOLD FLAX SEED OIL – Size 250ml

Over 80% of people suffer a deficiency of Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) contained in flax seed oil. EFAs are necessary fats that humans cannot synthesize, and must be obtained through diet. EFAs support the cardiovascular, reproductive, immune, and nervous systems.

Flaxseed oil is a natural food supplement which is high in fatty acids. Every living cell in the body needs essential fatty acids. They are important for rebuilding and producing new cells. It is also used by the body for the production of prostaglandins, hormone like substances processes. Flaxseed oil is rich in the two basic categories of essential fatty acids, the omega-3 and omega-6. It has tremendous benefits and is suitable for all to take.

Daily in-take of 1 or 2 teaspoons per day of Omega Gold Flax Seed Oil provides a good building blocks for all cell structures, including neurons in the brain, smooth skin, and healthy hair.

Omega Gold Flax Seed Oil assures the highest quality oil which is stable against rancidity. The oil is extracted from organically grown flax seeds using the special cold-pressing process, which eliminates the damaging effect of light, oxygen, and heat

Scientific trials revealed amazing health benefits

In an experiment, 2 groups of rats with chemical-induced colon tumours formation were fed with corn oil and flaxseed oil respectively for 35 weeks. Result showed that tumour size remained large for rats treated with corn oil, whereas there was remarkable reduction in the size of tumour for rats fed with flaxseed oil1.

Animal study revealed that flaxseed was effective in reducing the free radicals level that has caused the development of hyper-cholesterolemic atherosclerosis. Researchers further suggested that regular flax seed supplementation could prevent hypercholesterolemia-related heart attack and strokes2.

Administration of flax seed oil for 12 weeks minimized nicotine-induced skin irritation characterized by reddening of skin in tested individuals. Moreover, skin hydration status improved significantly, with reduced trans-epidermal water loss by about 10% after 6 weeks consumption of flax seed oil. The skin appeared smoother without scaling3.

Several clinical dietary intervention trials reported that daily consumption of flax seed could reduce blood total cholesterol by 5-17% and LDL cholesterol by 4-10% in hyper-cholesterolemic patients4.

How To Take

  • Take a minimum of 1-2 tablespoon daily.
  • It is best taken with yogurt. Ideal for salad dressings and smoothies.
  • Drizzle on vegetables or baked potatoes

The 21st Century Health Challenge

While human body needs only about 2 to 4 times more Omega-6 than Omega-3 fatty acids, our daily diet tends to contain excessive amount of Omega-6 fatty acids, about 14 to 25 times more! In other words, our body is deficient of Omega-3.

Health experts believed that this imbalance has impacted the rising rate of inflammatory disorders and other health conditions. To correct this imbalance, we need to consume more Omega-3 while reducing Omega-6. As such, flax seed oil offers the richest source of Omega-3.

A Low Omega-3 level reduces cell membrane permeability, causing inefficient transport of oxygen and nutrients to the cells, which consequently lead to degeneration of cells and health problems. Omega-3 is essential for regulating our body’s function, maintaining healthy heart function, immune function, brain function and nervous system.

The solution: Omega Gold Flax Seed Oil

Omega Gold Flax Seed Oil is organically grown. It is high in Omega 3, 6,and 9, essential fatty acids that are necessary building blocks for all cell structures, including neurons in the brain, smooth skin, and healthy hair.

Omega Gold Flax Seed Oil is processed using cold-pressed method to eliminate damaging effect of light, oxygen and heat.

Rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), Flax Seed Oil (FSO) contains double the amount of Omega-3 than ordinary fish oil that helps to maintain an appropriate balance of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids ratio in the body. FSO intake is beneficial for the prevention of heart disease, arthritis, and supports healthy cognitive and behavioural functions as well as for normal growth and development in children.
